Dee's Cafe and Sandwich -Palembang

Yesterday's afternoon we went to newly opened Cafe at Plaju. Actually, we were craving for desserts like Toast with Ice Cream. its quite hard to find a decent one in Palembang, but after find out that Dee's Cafe has it we decided to go there.
As we know Hollando Bakery is one of Famous Bakery in Palembang, and little did we know that Dee's is using Core Product Sandwich from hollando Bakery. So you know about the taste right?




Maybe some people still don't know about the location yet but let me guide you!
Dee's is located in plaju. Maybe some people found Plaju is really far and hard to reach, but sometimes it's good to explore somewhere else faraway from home. There are so many place to eat in the area right now. One of them is the Dee's Cafe and Sandwich. The place is slightly hard to spot from the main road, you just have to find KFC / Hollando's Bakery, and and Dee's is located in 2nd floor of Hollando's Bakery. You will trap in a little bit traffic jam when you went here on Afternoon/evening time because the area is kinda crowded. So be patient folks!

First Impression when I'm arrived is Homey. The Design is Simple but Cozy, too bad it doesn't located near the city. I will definitely come here every day to Relax lol!

Chocotine Toast ( 30.000 IDR )

Cube Breads toasts topped with Vanilla ice cream and Ovomaltine spread ,adding with Almonds and Chocolate Pocky Sticks. The Size is Big enough and The Taste is Great, Crunchy, its one of recommended menu in here. A must try for chocoholic!

Dee's Signature Toast ( 35.000 IDR)

Another Toast From Dee's . Its bigger than the First One and Rich in Flavour. It consist of 3 Breads, On each Layer filled with different jam and taste. Which is chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Pineapple Jam and  don't forget Blueberry Sauce that combined together with scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream.  They also added some small-sliced fresh strawberries to balance the sweet flavour from the toasts, The portion of the toast is quite big so if you don't have enough room to eat whole desserts, you'd better share it with you friends.

Mrs.Taro ( 26.000 IDR )

Well this one is one of the Our Favorite Drinks. I've been here before and really like their Taro. It's really tootsome. The Taste is Great and it's not too Sweet. This purple cute drink is perfect and rich in taro flavour! nyumm... I recommended this for you to Try!

Tarolicious Smoothies ( 28.000 IDR )

It's basically the same with Mrs.Taro, the different is just this one is smoothies types and served Cold. The Taste is similar to the hot one, but we found it slightly Fresh when its Cold. Actually We Still Craving for the taro after Finishing the Hot one so we decided to order another one LOL. They are all great !

Red Velvet Smoothies ( 30 .000 IDR )

If you love Red Velvet Cake , this is a Perfect Drink for You. It's rather Hard to Find Red velvet Drink in Palembang, So it would be a pleasure to Try it. The Colour is good with Sparkling Red, it's really tempting. In our opinion ,The Taste is a little bit like Chocolate but it's lovely. 

<New Drinks> Ketan hitam+ Tape 

Before going home, and asked for the bill, the waiter came to us with their new creation. They haven't release it yet, but they said maybe NEXT WEEK the drink will be ready to serve.You probably could ask the staffs about this drink. 

It's Indonesian Traditional Food that mix together into this drink. They blended Tape and Ketan Hitam to make this drink. The Taste is quite Unique, Fresh and smell Great. It's rather new for us and we kinda surprised when we tried the taste. Its sweet and the tape flavour tasted just right. If you love Tape, you will like this one!

Overall, we would recommended this place to all of my Friends. Maybe the place is quite far, but the food/beverages is great and the owner is humble. The Price is affordable and they have 10% Discount (opening promo). 

My full Story with dee's will continue and it only counts when I'm finally having their delicious food described on the menu courses! I'll probably spare some time for Lunch here !
