SOTO BANG KUMIS PALEMBANG

Who doesn't know Soto Bang kumis in Palembang? It's been running for few years in palembang and their soto still one of the best !! So Yesterday i had a visit, to a brand new Bang Kumis after they closed for 10 days renovation and finally (YEAY!!) They have opened again with a new ambiance and Of course with some new menus to try. Check it out!!.
And another Good news banget nih! They do have WIFI NOW!! ( ALL HAIL TO INTERNET!! ).

They still keep  their classic way to custom your own soup, So photoss!!

New interior Look

For the interior, i kind of like their new ambiance, they combine the wood and green elements into one looks that makes you feel more cozy.

Let's start the food parade:

1. Otak Otak 8K

Their otak otak is a must!! Maybe this is the most expensive otak otak in palembang BUT you can't lie with the taste. Definitely you'll come back for this after you try this.

2. Soup ( Start from 35k)

For the Soup,You can custom from the front table which part of the meats you want for your soup bowl. They do serve beef, intestine, flesh tripe , lamb and also chicken and etc. You can choose 2 types of soup based, milk based soup, or clear broth soup. Frankly speaking, their soto/sop is one of the best that i ever tried in palembang.

3. Ikan Bakar ( 15K/ONS )

Honestly, I didn't know that they served Ikan Bakar here. I almost doubt the taste of ikan bakar, because in my mind "Bang kumis" only served meat soup and WOW their ikan bakar going to be my next favorite.

Okay, down to review. I love their grilled fish, it's sweet, tender, and well seasoning. Everything was good, and pretty sure i would love to bring my family to try this menu next!

4. Cumi Bakar 50K ( Small portion )
My sister said that their Grilled squid is really good, Well I'm not really a big fans of grilled squids but this one is pretty good actually.

5. Ayam Goreng 50K

I have been a big fans of his fried chicken for quite some time. I love how their fried their chicken, little bit salty but still crunchy. LOVE IT! MUST TRY!

6. Ayam Bakar 50K

It's quite same with the fried one, but i'm still stick with the fried one.

7. SATE BAKAR 6K
