Who love korean's food? Raise you hands!!!The only one original korean restaurant in Palembang, it's located in Jl. Mayor Santoso. Never had a chance to go here, but this time i'm definitely going to try their menu!
First time coming here, you can easily find this place on the side of the street. It's not so big, but it's comfort enough. Just For your information, The chef and the owner of this restaurant is korean and I saw a lot korean people during my dinner time with their children eating here. So, I'm not going to doubt about the taste.
Let's start with it!!!
Korean Grilled ( 110K) ( NEW )
First in Palembang! Beef barbecue Grill here!! They served this one with 2 portion of rice and lettuce to make the "wrap". Just FYI I don't feel I would die for this. The portion is not so big, and I think it will be more great if they add more sauce or ingredients for this. So far, this is one of a their special menu here loll.
RAMYEON ( 30K)
One menu won't never enough, So We order another food. Traditional Korean Noodle a.k.a Shim Ramyun. Actually, you can buy this from the market, but they add some Special ingredients and eggs on it, so the taste is better. This is what I ate, and this one is my favorite!
KIMBAB ( 35k)
This is Korean's Sushi, made from steamed rice and various other ingredients, rolled in GIM (seaweed) and served in bite size slices.
TTEOKBOKKI ( 38 K )
One of most popular korean snack food made from Soft rice cake, Fish cake, and sweet red chili sauce. This one is not really the same from original one, I've been eaten a lot korean food (Since I'm a big fan of Korea Food especially tteokbokki), and this one is really different. The sauce is not so spicy, and it should be thicker. But still, if you are one of fans this menu, maybe you could ask a little bit spicy lol!
Kimchi Chigae is made from kimchi, and other ingredients such as scallions, Onions, Dice tofu, and etc. This one was the set menu that served with rice, korean egg roll, and kimchi.
The food here was served with "kimchi" just like the other korean restaurant, but too bad they only have "kimchi" as the side dish not like the other Korean Restaurant in Jakarta that served various type of side dish. They also don't give us free drink, so you have to order your own drink, and they don't give you free refill for your drink! *sob*
As we know, Palembang doesn't have a lot of Korean Restaurant, So do not Expect this gonna be one of the best korean Restaurant. I just hope that there's gonna be a new branch from one of the famous korean restaurant from jakarta soon, especially the one that served KOREAN BARBECUE But still, It's my opinion, You can come and try by your own.Well BEST OF LUCK !!!
